About the PLATFORM
The PLATFORM is my hub for clear thinking and straight talk. Here you’ll find my articles and videos on politics, policy, and public life—short explainers, longer analysis, and on-the-ground reflections when it matters. I cover what’s happening now, why it matters, and what the evidence actually supports. Expect sourced news breakdowns, context that travels beyond headlines, and arguments I’m willing to defend.
Alongside political analysis, I publish professional insights drawn from real work—leadership, strategy, civil society, research methods, and programme design. I’ll share practical tools, case notes, and lessons you can use tomorrow. It’s one place for ideas you can read or watch, updated regularly, and always open to challenge. Welcome to The PLATFORM.

About MOHD
I’m a strategist, researcher, and trainer based in Dublin. My work sits at the intersection of migration, inclusion, and community integration in Ireland. I lead programmes, build practical systems, and translate policy into tools organisations can use.
Focus in Ireland
I focus on real issues affecting refugees, asylum seekers, and migrants: access to services, pathways to volunteering and work, local participation, and organisational capacity to support inclusion. I work with NGOs, local authorities, and community groups to design evidence-based interventions, measure results, and improve practice.
What you’ll find on The PLATFORM
-
Political & policy analysis (Ireland): immigration, integration, community safety, local government, funding, and social policy—explained clearly with sources.
-
Professional notes: supervision methods, hiring and onboarding, volunteer management, outcomes tracking, safeguarding, and governance fixes.
-
Practical tools: templates, checklists, dashboards, and step-by-step guides that teams can adopt tomorrow.
-
Videos: short briefings on current issues and longer walk-throughs on methods and tools.
How I work
Define the problem. Challenge assumptions. Map incentives. Use credible data and official guidance. Separate facts from interpretation. State limits and uncertainties. Update when evidence changes. If a claim is weak, say so; if it’s strong, show why.
Topics I cover
-
Irish immigration and integration policy
-
Inclusive volunteering and community participation
-
Programme design, MEAL, and accountability
-
Organisational operations: supervision, workload, and governance
-
Rights-based approaches across services (housing, education, health, employment)
Editorial standards
Accuracy over agreement. Every analysis cites sources, flags uncertainties, and makes recommendations that are proportionate to the evidence. I welcome critique grounded in data and lived experience.
Collaboration
I partner with NGOs, local authorities, funders, and community groups on research, training, strategy reviews, and implementation support. I also deliver tailored workshops for teams building inclusive practice.
If you disagree with something here, good—bring context and sources. The aim isn’t to win an argument; it’s to get to clearer, more useful answers for people building an inclusive Ireland.
